This setting controls the way that the cursor is displayed when the EntryStyle is Emulator. Note that users can select their own Cursor Style in settings for each profile unless CSS user settings are not enabled (See the View setting Client Access to Settings).
Default: Block Cursor
Possible Values:
Block Cursor |
The cursor is a rectangular shape that is the same size as a character cell in the emulation rows and columns. |
Underline Cursor |
The cursor is an underscore that appears at the bottom of a character cell in the emulation rows and columns |
Block Blinking Cursor |
The Block cursor will blink to enable the user to more easily find it |
Underline Blinking |
The underscore cursor will blink to enable the user to more easily find it |
Crosshair |
The cursor will display as a vertical and horizontal thin line oriented to the left and bottom of the current cursor location.
When a user selects Crosshair (or it is the default), the Color for Crosshair Cursor Mode and Width for Crosshair Cursor Mode settings can be used to change the appearance of the crosshair cursor vertical and horizontal lines. |
In a Profile, this value can be inherited from a linked, parent profile. The Track Marks () will indicate if the value is default, from the parent Profile or unique to this profile.
