The Profile Definition contains the most settings that affect the detailed behavior of the terminal emulation session for a user that has connected using a particular session profile. As Profiles are the one setting that support inheritance / linking, the "tracks" symbols have the most relevance in terms of the administrator understanding whether an individual setting is "unique/local" or "inherited" from either the source host or a parent profile.
