If active session timeout is set to true for the Viewer Service, by default a session will be timed-out if the user does not send any new keystrokes or screen enters for the duration of a timeout segment.
Set this to yes if you only want sessions to timeout that have been lost due to a network outage or a browser process closing (or some other unexpected session loss).
Possible Values:
Un-Checked |
Sessions are timed-out if, within the timeout interval, the user does not press enter or a function key for 5250 and 3270 sessions, or press any keystrokes for a VT220 or other ASCII terminal type. |
Checked |
As long as there is a connection between the client browser and the FVTerm server, the session will not be timed-out by the service. |
