When checked, when the user closes the browser tab or window, the session will not be terminated/closed (note that even if not checked many times the user closing the browser will not terminate the session).
Check this if you only want sessions to close when the user explicitly clicks on the close icon in the actions or if the session times-out based on system/service settings.
