This option enables a long press (1 second default, see Clipboard Copy Mouse Activation Press Milliseconds ) of the left mouse button followed by a release to activate an emulator Emulator Block Copy Action as an alternative to clicking the icon 
. Note that by default, the Ctrl-D key sequence will also start an Emulator Block Copy Action the same as clicking on the icon.
This will then display the yellow cross-hair cursor with a "draw" already started at the point where the long-press was made. The user then moves the mouse to describe the area to copy and clicks the left mouse button one more time to complete the copy.
Users can also change this option in the settings.
