While some users like to have a consistent geometry of the fonts displayed, others dislike having empty gaps either at the top and bottom of the page or on the sides.
By stretching the font in the emulation area, no gaps will appear, but at the same time, the fonts may not be as easy to read for some users... Note that users can select their own stretch option (checkbox in settings) for each profile unless CSS user settings are not enabled (See the View setting Client Access to Settings).
Note that like the StyleSheet and Font settings, this setting also appears in the New Profile Wizard allowing the effect to be seen dynamically during the Wizard.
