The host is typically a UNIX character-mode application which supports the VT100 protocol (or VT220 and Viewer also supports many VT330 features as well as SCO-ANSI, ADDS-Viewpoint and Wyse). Note that many devices can be interfaced with using VT100, such as routers, firewalls and Windows-based servers |
