Inventu Viewer+ Configuration Management

The welcome.htm page is displayed anytime the FVTerm application is active but no connection is displayed.  This page is where the connection tiles/icons are displayed as well as the product logo.

 

Optionally, in the lower right, a white box can be displayed with the default message "Report a Problem" or text of your choosing -- when this is clicked by a user, a problem reporting form is displayed which includes an optional email address and a free form textarea box for providing information about a problem.  When the user submits the form, along with the user's email and text, the current connection details as well as the websocket internal log will be posted to a text file in the FVTerm logs folder (c:\ProgramData\Flynet\FVTerm\Logs\Reports).

 

The contents of the websocket log can be helpful in diagnosing network issues and connection reliability by the Inventu support staff.

Standard Link

The problem report link will be displayed with the text "Report a Problem"

No Report Link step_default_24

(default) - the link is not displayed

Custom Report Link Text

The link will be displayed, replacing the text "Report a Problem" with the value custom text displayed in the provided entry field.
