These three settings, Connect Test Test, Connect Test Row and Connect Test Column enable a synchronized connection, necessary in terminal emulation and integration (non-passthrough) environments. They relate to text that appears on the first screen displayed that is consistent (like part of a title rather than a date).
The New Host Wizard provides an interactive mouse box draw as the quickest way to define these values--click on the text for using the mouse, then, using the left mouse button to define the upper left corner of the text, drag to the right and slightly down to draw a box around the text.
Without the wizard, using the terminal emulator you can position the cursor on text that reliably displays on the first screen and note the text, row and column.
Once this setting is made, when a CONNECT method is used for this host, the CONNECT will not complete until the ConnectText appears in the host screen buffer at ConnectRow, ConnectColumn.
