Inventu Viewer+ Configuration Management

Select if the FVTerm Window will (and when) automatically close when the user disconnects an active session.

In many environments, if there is a specific profile connected based on another menu action, when and if the user disconnects from the session, this option allows you to control whether the FVTerm window will automatically close.  When a Session Profile to Auto-Start is active, or in many other situations, this can be less confusing to users.

Description

Nostep_default_24

Default - Normal behavior--when user disconnects a session, the menu of available host profiles will be displayed in the FVTerm page.

Always

If opened from a link with target="_blank" or with a window.open, the active FVTerm Browser Window will close when a user disconnects a session.

If a user has opened a new Tab or instance of the browser and directly loaded the FVTerm application page, this will not close the window due to security changes over time with how browsers treat the window.close() function.

When a Child Window

The active FVTerm Browser Window will only close if in an Iframe or a Child Window when a user disconnects a session.  This option enables a use of the same view both for "auto-connected" users and users accessing the view directly.
