The Trace Viewer requires that Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or Higher (IE 11 for example) be installed. This is a common requirement for the earlier Inventu Viewer+ Administration components such as the Admin Console, Trace Viewer and Recorder.
In addition, if any of the Administration applications are to be used on a different machine than the Inventu Viewer+ Server, the Access data sources across domains security setting must be enabled for the appropriate zone (such as Intranet). This setting is accessed using the Custom Level button on the Internet Explorer Tools/Internet Settings:
