It is recommended that server macro development be performed on a development server/PC which has the Inventu Viewer+ Service and a configured FVTerm web application.
Any version of Visual Studio that can create a .NET Framework 4 assembly can be used to create a Inventu Viewer+ server macro, including the free Community Edition, however, for the best experience, please (if possible) Open Visual Studio in Administrator Mode or as an alternate, be sure to grant your userid full access to the folders described in Setup your Macro for Activation,
