The Flynet Viewer development methodology includes Screen Definition Files, which provide screen meta information utilized by the Flynet Viewer COM and Flynet Viewer .NET interfaces as well as the Mapper application.

 

Screen Definition Files are straight-forward XML files which define screen names, identification criteria and, optionally, field mappings. (Click here to open the Screen Definition Reference)

 

XML is generated to the Windows clipboard.  No direct file generation is provided--it is assumed that the developer has a definitions file open in an editor while using this feature.

 

The Recording Viewer provides two methods of generating XML one is a whole file generation while the other is a single screen generation.
