If the Redact Action is being used to blank certain screen values, the default character set into the screen is a blank.
If you would like to use a different character, such as an asterisk * or any in the active character set that has a corresponding value in the host screen (not all Unicode characters can be used--only those that will translate correctly.

RedactionCharacter=* #Set as asterisk
