Ignore this setting unless you are using the product in pass-through mode on a small-screen device such as a phone, PDA or PocketPC.

For special situations, where the target client device has a small screen area (such as a Pocket PC), the Emulation Row Cutoff provides a scrolling optimization made necessary by logon screens.

In many VT100 applications, when a logon screen is displayed, the logon field and other information is typically at the "bottom" of a 24/25 row screen.

Once logon has been achieved, a specialized application may be loaded that only displays to the first "N" lines to improve usability on the small form factor of the Palm PC.

By setting the Emulation Row Cutoff at the first row after the "mini-display", passthrough support will shift where the "origin" of the screen is, so that either the bottom of the screen (after row cutoff) is sent if the cursor is below the cutoff, and the top of the screen is sent if the cursor is above the cutoff.
