Description
i was considering creating a log so that i could capture userid/luname at login time - this info is extremely helpful during certain types of debug. as i thought about it, i realized that what would be easier (for me of course), and provide far greater debug capabilities would be for an additional link off the Active Sessions console page. this link would display all variables by name and their current value. in my case, the profile info would be available, identifying each user. aside from that, there are innumerable situations that could be solved more rapidly by being able to instantly see what certain variables are set to, without having to add TESHOWs to the code. obviously, this would have to be at the console level, since security would be required.

Comment We are adding logging to the terminal port, which will optionally log to an extended NCSA format each hit-- you will be able to modify a few task variables to alter what gets logged. This will then let you analyse and view statistics using any standard web log analysis product (there are many).

As far as your specific request for viewing the value of variables...this is fairly easy to implement--will try to get it in soon.
