A customer connects to our screensurfer server but are not
able to download the Function keys plug-in , becouse they
are behind a proxy. We can't make our customer modify the
proxy.
How best might the customer get to be able to use the
function keys, please?
I am expecting information as to which browser the customer
is using and whether email or ftp might be used for small
files. If this is the best approach, please could you let
us know which files, and where they need to be installed?

One approach for IE--
First, open Tools/Internet Options:"Temporary Internet
Files"--click on "Settings" Button, then "View Objects"
button--this will show you where your temporary internet
files are being stored.
Access using browser:
http://support.screensurfer.com/docs/sskeys.cab
This will either prompt to download, or open WinZip if
installed...
Unzip the files SSKeys.dll and SSkeys.inf to the folder
identified in the first step--on windows/2000 this
is "c:\winnt\downloaded program files"
In a command-line window, cd to the folder, then run:
regsvr32 sskeys.dll
As-in:
c:\>cd "\winnt\downloaded program files" <enter>
c:\winnt\downloaded program files>regsvr32 sskeys.dll
