I am gettting an error on every screen that I developede 
when I try to navigate to them.  I was not getting this 
error Friday.  It just started showing up today.

The error is
Expected ")"

Also My Code tables do not seem to be loading I am getting 
an error where the selection list should be.

When you state that you "were not getting this error on 
Friday"...does that also apply to the code table error you 
are receiving?

Also, did you install a different version of Screensurfer 
from Friday to today?

What version of V3 are you running?  Have you applied the 
latest fix to the Screensurfer executeable?  It's located 
at:  ftp://www.screensurfer.com/t3_0_1b.zip

Unzip the file, and perform the following:

- stop the Screensurfer service
- copy only the new ielua.exe to your \screensurfer\bin 
directory
- start the Screensurfer service
- retest and see if bugs persist

I have not changed versions since I upgraded to the 3.0.1a 
GA release which I did last monday

OK, please apply the new ielua.exe as stated in the prior

I did install the fix But, I am still experiencing the same 
error

Bill, please "zip" your entire codetables directory and the 
codetables.js file (available at 
\screensurfer\hostserver\docs\vsurfer) and email to 
surfer@ie.com and reference ticket# 745 in the subject 
line.  We'll attempt to recreate your problem and get back 
with you as soon as possible.  Thanks!

Just an add in I am getting the error on the toy mainframe 
even with no sreens ID.  The error is showing up even when 
the Gobal.Default is used.

Thanks Bill for the testing and the feedback.  We found the 
problem you forwarded regarding the codetables.  We noticed 
in the appselect.txt file that there is the first 
dropdown "description" that is the following: 

TSO FOR THE 'D' SYSTEM

Notice the embedded single-quotes around the D.  Remove the 
single-quotes around the D and save the file.  This should 
correct the problem.  We also included a fix in 
Screensurfer to ignore embedded single-quotes in dropdown 
descriptions in a referenced .txt file within the 
codetables processing.  This fix will be in the new version 
of V3 coming out this afternoon...Thanks!
