I have a screen which is not recognized, but should be. I assume I need to supply trace and template, not sure how to provide.

done - contained in the zip are:
hyenalog.1 - trace
templates.log (or whatever - template trace)
benefits.stml - the section that should match is
BEN,_BENEFITS_SELECTION_MENU
unless, of course, I've lost my head and it really doesn't match. However, I have at least one other that's no longer matching.

Pete, while I will be working on this tomorrow, probably, can you check in the Administrator's menu in DevCenter, and view the Screen Recognition Base? This should be pretty big for you now, but you can also follow it and perhaps see where Screensurfer is stumbling...

Probably. Maybe you should do a full install after backing-up your templates and docs/devtool directories.
Then, do a "replace \backupdir\*.js docs\devtool /u" command, which will replace all files that are newer from your backup dir. That should maintain any changes you've made, as I haven't touched the userdefs.js file since the initial version.

where do I get the full version from? If I bring it down from the website, will I be trashing the license count or anything in the registry?

Sorry, it is at ftp://ftp.ieinc2.com/pub/surf1_3a.exe, and is an installation program like the others-- will not trash anything in registry, since it is the same we've been using all along...
Also, I just checked, and it will actually only overwrite files in DevTool if they are older than new ones, so the userdefs should all be Ok.

just fyi - I am not going to do a full install until we get ielua straightened out, so I can refresh everything at once with all fixes.
