Could you please be a little more specific in what you are
trying to do. Also, what version are you using.

Our AS/400 uses the sessions device name to route the user
to their appropriate sub system. I just downloaded the
evaluation copy 3.1 I think.

Are you trying to assign a specific name to each connection
the user connects to or are your users connecting with
their own IP addresses? I guess I am still a little
confused as to whay you are trying to achieve.

when you execute the "host access page", click
on "connection wizard", and select "5250" as the connection
type. When the user enters all pertinent info on their
connection, the fully qualified connect string is displayed
below the connect options just entered in a very small
font. The connect string can then be copied and pasted to
where the user does the "teaction connect"...
