Description
|
I am at the Screen Object
wizard and I am trying to view my cache screens. Screen
Surfer displays a white screen stating "cache loading", but
no screen is there. At the bottom of the page a message
appears stating that the particular screen was loaded. In
addition I can not connect to a new session and all of my
previous sessions I can not access. On my hard drive all of
my templetes and screen maps are there with the correct
information and screen surfer is pointing to the correct
directory. Thanks

Perhaps you have run-out of sessions...try checking with
the "green swirling arrow" that is used to start or access
an existing session in the DevCenter.
It will list the active sessions--if you see 10, you need
to exit some--you do this by clicking on the session, then
selecting the exit link.
You can also use the Admin Console to "stop" the sessions.
For on-going use, if this is the problem, try to select a
session prior to using one of the Wizards--then in the
screen object wizard, you won't be starting a new session
every time.

No, this is not the case. When I click on the "green
swirling arrow" it only lists one session, that is what I
was trying to convey when I stated I could not access
previous sessions. It states
Session 1--Active, Address-Cache Session, Term Status--
Active, Session Status--Active-Tra1099641580. When I click
on this session nothing happens. When I click the arrow to
compile, nothing happens. I have already completed the
Identify and Navigate Wizard and the Screen Object Wizard
and was in the process of writing my data fields to a
database. One day the information was there, I closed
everything out like I normally do at the end of the day
and then the next day nothing worked.

OK--sorry for the wrong guess--
Can you please start Screensurfer in diagnostic mode and
see what is happening in the console window that appears--
also, can you zip-up your screensurfer\hostserver\templates
directory and attach to an email sent to surfer@ie.com,
with the subject of the e-mail "Ticket #661".
This will give us the ability to find any problems in your
templates that might be giving Screensurfer a problem.
