Description
Hi

Is it possible to select another language code or codepage,
in order to get all the different Danish symbols, that is
transponded from the mainframe, which is not under our
control?

In our setup,we are currently using Screensurfer to attach
to an Microsoft SNA-server, through the Client software,
and we are using the SNA 3270 protocol. (Not the TN3270,
that is :-)
The client software is configured with the Danish
codepages, but currently, we are recieving garbage symbols
instead of the correct symbols.

The Server running the Screensurfer evaluation software, is
Windows 2000 Server Version.

Any help would be appreciated

We currently support a translation table approach, which has
been documented in the online HTML documentation under
Administration/Registry/TranslateTable.

If you have an EBCDIC-to-ASCII translate table for your code
page, you can e-mail as an attachment to surfer@ie.com and
we will be happy to convert it to our format for you.

This is the second request this week for an easier method of
defining translation (codepage approach) so I guess we
better get it implemented!
