I downloaded your Screensurfer yesterday & tried to install
it, however I am unable to run anything other than the
Screensurfer Control. When I click on the Admin Console,
DevCenter, Doc or HomePage shortcut icons that were created
with the installation program the web browser returns
a 'The Page cannot be displayed' error message. I have
uninstalled the product & re-installed it three times
already. Using the default port number and also the
alternative port numbers.
I am running on a NT platform.
You need to be sure that Screensurfer is started before
accessing it. Screensurfer is a web server, and if the
server isn't started, your browser will not be able to load
anything from it...
Please start Screensurfer in diagnostic mode from the
Screensurfer/Screensurfer Service Control Panel off the
Select Y to clear log files.
If it starts-up OK, then try the Web Gateway Home page and
try to connect.
If it doesn't start-up OK, or if you have further problems,
please email and attach the file
\screensurfer\hostserver\surfdiag.log to firstname.lastname@example.org
referencing Ticket #553 in the Subject.
