Description
Sorry to sound dim here but where do you actually specify
the 5250 As/400 connection for the Surfer . I can't quite
understand at what point this happens from the
documentation . At least not in the Installation .

During the install, you are asked if you want to define any
connections--at that time, you enter the DNS or IP address
of your AS400 and check the "5250" box in the install
program.

Try re-installing and specifying at that time...note that
you may want to un-install first in order to have the
install program prompt for the connections, as it will not
do that for an existing installation (so that an existing
user doesn't have the connections altered just to upgrade
the software).

Without going through that, you can try using the Connection
Wizard, which you access through the Web Gateway Homepage,
loaded from the Screensurfer Folder or Start Button entry.

Note that to use the connection wizard you first need to
start Screensurfer using the service applet also loaded from
the Screensurfer folder--we always recommend starting in
diagnostic mode for a new installation/new connection.
