I open the Screensurfer folder from my desktop and then I 
double click on the SreenSurfer control shortcut and the 
Screensurfer folder window closes... 

This has been fixed in a new release of the Surfer.exe 
module.

This will be incorporated in the next installation program 
and can be downloaded immediately from 
ftp://www.screensurfer.com/surfer.exe (download to 
\screensurfer\bin).

The surfer.exe was creating and positioning the Screensurfer 
Folder whether it already existed or not...this was a 
problem when the desktop was cluttered, as frequently the 
"create" would somehow cause the existing one to go away and 
the new one to be lost in the clutter or not created at 
all...

Fix was to check first if the folder is active and not do 
anything if it is...
