 Is there support for Pen selecable fields in Surfer?

Comment If you mean lightpen, or selectable fields, yes.

You need to turn-on Screen.SelectClicks for the session, or set the default in the registry SelectClicks=1.

When this is set, the TEAREA tag will generate new entry fields and other areas that are selectable using special images to represent selectable locations on the screen.

You then click on an image to either trigger an event, or to set a selection on or off.
