Ticket #382 ( Accepted )

Short Description Warning needed for mis-spelled tags
Entered By: Squidmaster Pro When: 1999-09-04 10:07:08 Build: 1.03.29G
Categories Type: Suggestion   Department: Product   Category: SurferScript
Description
I have found that if I use the tag <TELSE> by mistake, rather than <TEELSE> I do not receive a compiler or runtime error, I simply do not get the else branch of the logic. Would it be possible to generate a compiler error when this tag is misspelled? This occurs with version 1.03.29G.

Comment You aren't the first to be bitten by this issue--we will add a warning in the compiler for any tag beginning with TE that isn't a SurferScript tag...except for TEXTAREA and other valid non-surferscript tags brought to our attention...
