I have a few screens that contain money fields (no decimals, just whole numbers) with leading dashes - dashes are left justified. The dashes are not cleared automatically. I works fine in fields that are all dashes. Need a trace?

dashes are now suppressed, but instead of blanks, the remainder of the field became left justified. i'm not sure if that could be due to a justify from the datastream or if you are completely suppressing them instead of converting to blanks.

They are being suppressed...what do you think is the best approach? We can also include them...very easy to change and probably a bit arbitrary-- let me know. (supressing was admittedly easier to code!).

well,,,, they should probably be "replaced" instead of suppressed, since suppressing them changes the screen layout more than replacing them with blanks.

You're right...it is now in and tested for 1.3.14, which has been updated in the t1_3_14, but this is the only change from the one you currently have...
