Description
Do you have any conflicts with Netscape? We can run IE without a hitch but, if try to access the same screen with Netscape you get a "404 file not found error". You can acess our site at www.nationalwesternlife.com. Click on the American flag, scroll down to "Online Agent Section" click. Pick Agent query enter ***** for the agent number, and **** for the password. Please send the results to me at schweitz@onr.com thanks, Dan Schweitzer

Comment We've tried the various queries, such as Get Commission Information and List Pending Policies, and can't reproduce the 404...any chance that you have some old things running around in the cache on Netscape, or maybe specifically, which version of Netscape? Maybe try the reload on initial menu and reload on others?

One point, noticed on the initial menu (policy holder or agent query)-- you are including a <TEMACRO Sessionkey> on a link when there is no session active, and this creates a malformed URL-- shouldn't include the sessionkey in a link if not connected to a session; you can use <TEIF Task.SessionActive> in the script to determine whether to include the sessionkey in the link or not...

Comment We have tried 3 different copies of Netscape, 2 version 4.05 and 1 mac version 4.06. Could it be a default broswer setting? I am downloading version 4.61 now and will try.

Comment Also we are using build 2 upgraded from 1.03.07A, however, if it works for you I doubt that is a problem.

Comment I'm using 4.01A. I think that we aren't going the same place as you are!

Please detail an exact sequence to reproduce the error...which query is giving the error, and what is the URL that causes the error? The URL when you get the 404 should be in the browser location line, or you can get it by doing a pulldown menu View/Page Info.

Comment Logon to the agent query with Agent = ***** Password = **** When you get to the next screen you have a few options, you can go to Get Commission Information, & List Pending Policies without needing a number. If we access any option on that screen we get a HTTP 404: Sorry, requested file not found...

Comment OK, got it, with a newer version of Netscape--I think it worked in my office because I had the surfer.css file in the cache...

You must be running a very new version of ielua.exe, and for some reason it is loading the CSS file for our 5250 (AS400) color support, just put-in.

Fix is to grab ftp://ftp.ieinc2.com/pub/surfer/surfer.css and copy it to your \screensurfer\hostserver\docs directory. Sorry for this, we thought that the CSS file would only be included if it was setup in the registry.
