Description
I started a session, then, keeping the page up in my browser, waited about an hour until I was sure my session had been swept. Then, I re-submitted my search and I got a blank page back instead of a page saying my session was no longer valid. Here's the URL for you to try it yourself:

http://www3.charlestoncounty.org/surfer/form/emulator/3_caB1023867937_1023871968

Any ideas?

Comment Which build is this happening in -- we fixed a problem with swept sessions not being locked-out from the previous user in build 1.3.28K or so--

Latest build, 1.3.28M, has this fix in it-- ftp://ftp.ieinc2.com/pub/surfer/t1_3_28M.zip.

Comment I installed build M. Now I no longer get a blank page I get the warning "Document contains no data" - which is better, but is it possible to generate a "Session Not Valid" message like currently appears for the non-form emulator links? That's certainly a lot more descriptive and useful to the end user . . .

Comment Please check your global.invalid section-- is there anything in it? That should be played when a user tries to reconnect to an invalid session.

Another possibility is that the session isn't actually being swept-- are you manually sweeping using the console button, or using some other means, like an timed interval section?

Comment YES, there is text in the Global.invalid section, and yes it does get "played" when a user tries to connect to an invalid session via a sendkey or transaction URL (/surfer/sendkeys/62_abe528868140_534040171/[pf2]/courtcriminalresults.criminalinquirycaseselection) - HOWEVER, as I said, when a user tries to reconnect to an invalid session via a form/emulator URL (http://www3.charlestoncounty.org/surfer/form/emulator/3_caB1023867937_1023871968) they STILL get a blank screen on Live Server (even after installing build M) - it's almost as if the form/emulator cgi isn't doing any session validation.

And YES, the sessions shoud be getting swept as this is performed every ten minutes using a timed interval section.

Comment Found it-- this is caused by a recent change that is backed-out in build T1_3_28N. Screensurfer was returning the global.invalid page but with an HTTP code of 400, which the browser then uses without displaying the page...

New build is at ftp://ftp.ieinc2.com/pub/surfer/t1_3_28n.zip

Sorry for the delay...
