I am trying to demo your product (V1.04) to see if we can use the 5250 emulator. If I do a start on the session inside of console the session pops up with only an input feild for the password, nothing for the userid. If I start the session through normal panels I see no fields to enter data into. I would love to turn on the log function for you, but uner my settings there does not appear to be one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS - 3270 seems to work great!

Sorry for the delay in responding--
To log, use the Screensurfer Service Control Applet and start in "Diagnostic Mode". Connect to your 5250 Signon Screen...then stop the service.
This produces a file \Screensurfer\hostserver\surfdiag.log - please e-mail this file as an attachment to surfer@ieinc.com, with "Ticket193" in the subject.
I believe we have a fix already for this issue, as there is a field attribute issue in some sign-on screens that our screen-to-HTML converter trips-up on. If we can get your log file we can verify that we have the fix and get it to you later today.

PDO, new build is available at:
ftp://ftp.ieinc2.com/pub/surfer/t1_4_2a.zip
Unzip to \screensurfer\bin to replace ielua.exe.
Problem was with an attribute byte being incorrectly translated...

Installed new ielua. From gateway screen I only see the userid field - no password field. If I go into administrator console, and do a details on the session, I see and can enter into both fields. What have I got wrong?

Hmmm, will check what went wrong-- this is reproducing today, even though a "straight" as400 is working great...will fix immediately. Expect something in the next 30 minutes!
