I cant seem to restart the service...
this is the error i am getting from the log..

This is an addition to this problem...
After doing a compile, the service hangs. This is the message i get from the console..
Recompiling C:\Screensurfer\HostServer\Templates (compiler version 1.03.19d)...

We are trying to determine what is causing this problem. You are not the only one experiencing it--can you confirm that it occurs only when recompiling from another machine?
You should still be able to stop from the service applet, although it might take a while. The task manager can also kill the ielua.exe if you get impatient.
The current loop was put-in to try to avoid a trap at one customer, but is perhaps creating a bigger problem.
Will try to get a fix this week-- any particular situation this occurs in, or always?

We now feel that this has been nailed-- new release available at ftp://ftp.ieinc2.com/pub/surfer/t1_3_20a.zip.
Unzip in \screensurfer\bin to replace ielua.exe.
Service now stops faster, too.
