By default, the built-in administrator's emulator operates in "block mode" since this is the standard used in the 3270 and 5250 environments.
In block mode (unchecked-OFF), the emulator will "anticipate" where the current entry field is, based on the current cursor position and whether or not there is a blank at the cursor. In this mode, you must use the TAB or ENTER to send any input to the host.
In block mode (OFF), you can send the current keystrokes without an ENTER or TAB by pressing Ctrl-S (control-send).
Activating Full Character-Mode
When you set this CHECKED (ON), you activate a mode where each key is sent as it is pressed. For the best emulation environment with VT terminals, this mode is recommended. However, when using the Workflow Screen Recorder, this can create an excessive number of "screenshots" in the recording file.
