The Temporary Flash Screen is an informational screen that will disappear on its own without operator action.
Roles
| Host | The Flash screen provides status information about progress as an application processes the previous request. |
| WS | The navigation for a web service task will be analysed, and if a flash screen can appear, any informational messages on it will be appended to the Messages string returned by all web service calls. Code is automatically generated to wait for the next screen whenever a flash screen is detected during a transaction. |
This temporary screen is displayed as the back-end host system performs a batch input process prior to displaying the next screen; typically a 3-4 second process.
