The Inventu Viewer+ FVTerm application supports the major identification frameworks that are in turn supported by major identity providers.
Supported identity frameworks include:
•Integrated Windows Security (Server must be joined to the Domain)
•SAML 2.0
•OAuth2 OpenID Connect
•Google User Authorization
•Azure Active Directory WS-Federation
Note that Integrated Windows Security is a free option while the others are part of the optional Server API and Identity Management Feature.
Generally if you use Google Authorization as part of your Identity environment, we recommend the Google User Authorization option as while it is OAuth2 OpenID Connect "under the covers" it also includes integration with Google Groups and Roles for controlling access to Views, Profiles and the optional Macros feature.
For most Identity providers, we recommend OAuth2 OpenID Connect as this has the best support for querying user groups and roles for different environments.
