The IIS Folder for the FVTerm application is installed to c:\inetpub\wwwroot\fvterm by default.

 

If your organization has different standards for the location of IIS applications, you can move/copy the folder to a different drive and folder.

 

Optional: to move FVTerm (only do this if your organization requires it!):

 

1.Perform the move/copy -- if to another drive, you can delete from the location under INETPUB\WWWROOT

2.Using the IIS Management Console, set the new location of the FVTerm application

a.Locate FVTerm in the Treeview - FVTerm

b.Click and select Basic Settings from Actions

c.Set the new location in IIS

d.Using Regedit, change the value at HKLM/Software/Inventu/Viewer/IISConfig/FVTermInfo:AppPath to reflect the new location

e.This will enable the web application to continue working

f.This will be picked-up by the installation program during the next upgrade
