For a character mode host, sets the default key to send so that the cursor is positioned at the screen's home cursor or command entry location.

 

For many hosts, a command entry field is necessary for correct navigation through the screen, while other field locations will prevent navigation.  By positioning the cursor with this key, proper navigation can proceed from the active screen.

 

The default value is [home] which sends the active definition for a home key after the text is entered for the field.

 

To stop any keys from being sent in order to position the cursor, set this to null.
