The HostConnection object controls the connection to the host systems.

Use the HostConnection.getScreen method to return a HostScreen object.

The monitoring of license and session usage is done with the HostConnection object.

Specialised applications that may require several simultaneous requests to a session (i.e. an application using asynchronous connections) is able to send keystrokes using the quickSend method. By setting the sessionMonitor property to TRUE, a screen update can be monitored and the details such as the hostWriteCount returned to the client.

Use the printDataLength property to check whether a VT application has sent a print stream to the emulator. The getPrintData method is used to return the print data and clear the buffer.
